Tourism
Touristic activities such as blue voyage, yachting and nature sports are popular in the bay and gulfs of the area. The area is focus of interest not only for its lodging houses and small hotel business but also for its secondary houses such as summer houses.
Fishery
Artisanal fishery is performed by the fishing nets, fishing lines and other paragats. With the opening of hunting season, trawlers and purse-seine boats start their activities. Within the borders of SEPA, there are Akyaka and Akçapınar Aqua Products and Fishery Cooperatives. Grey mullets, cupes , pilchard, horse mackarel, mırmır, mercan, karagöz, çipura, barbun, sea bass, lahoz ve akya are hunted.
