Rubicon
 
Active in the Netherlands. Appoximately the 10 founder members of the foundation have been working as environment conservationist and researcher. Over the last 20 years, the founders of RUBICON have been working in the field of biodiversity conservation. They have world-wide experience and nature conservation notion. Their fundamental expertise is in Europe. They have been making conservation studies in Balkans Mediterranean countries. Rubicon focuses on site-based community work, and has a practical action-oriented approach thus bridging the gaps in knowledge and experience between countries. Rubicon also uses its expertise on EU legislation to provide services and best practices for wise use of natural resources in the EU countries and in the accession countries.
 
SAD-AFAG
SAD-AFAG is a registered NGO in Turkey, which specializes on the research and protection of marine and coastal habitats including ICZM and ICMM plan design, conservation of endangered species such as Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus) and was established in 1987 and has completed over 26 research, conservation and environmental education projects along Turkish coasts. It received several awards in the field of monk seal and coastal habitat protection. 
Since 1987, taking Mediterranean Monk seal as a symbol; AFAG manages scientific research and conservation studies with a motto “Protecting Mediterranean monk seal means protecting the Mediterranean!". Makes lobbying and advocacy in the relevant and responsible Ministries & governmental departments in order to let necessary measures to be taken or legislative studies to be done for the protection strategies. Designs reasonable and sustainable plans for protection areas. Organizes environmental education and public awareness activities.
Environmental Protection Agency for Special Areas (EPASA):
The aim of EPASA is to protect the natural beauties, the historical and cultural sources, the biological diversity, the living and non-living entities belonging to underwater and above-water; to pass these values to further generations; to provide regional development within the framework of sustainability; and to make the society aware of environment.
 
  • To set the balance of protection and usage,
  • To protect the limited and fruitful agricultural sites and also qualified forest sites,
  • To prevent underground and above ground water pollution; to protect wetland sites against extinction,
  • To make the regions be used in an organized way.
  • To improve the environmental infrastructure of the settlements in the regions,
  • To support the economic sectors such as agriculture, tourism, fishery so as not to harm the natural balance.  
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA):
To provide sustainable usage for the aim of natural resources and environment protection and agriculture, to make colloboration with relevant governmental bodies and follow the implementation results,  follow relevant international legislation in terms of conservation of natural resources and to make studies for the compatibility of national legislation with international legislation, to create environment notion during the implementation stage by colloborating with concerned bodies, to make recommendations, to attend commitee meetings of endangering species, give opinion, take protection measures and make collboration with relevant bodies, execute protection and control activities of wild animals and their habitats and take necessary cautions.
